Coding agents

Activate and sync

Set up licensed documentation tools for your coding agent.

The documentation browser is free, with no limits. Basic commands like posh sync are free too. You need a license for the AI tools: the CLI integration and MCP server.

Activate your license

Get your license key from the customer portal linked in your Polar email. Replace YOUR_LICENSE_KEY below. Keep the key out of agent chats and MCP configuration.

posh activate YOUR_LICENSE_KEY
posh status

Sync your project

From a Ruby project with a Gemfile.lock, run:

posh sync

This downloads available project docs. Run it again after changing dependencies, or enable automatic sync with Bundler.

Connect your coding harness

  • CLI: let your agent look up documentation through shell commands.
  • MCP: add POSH as a local documentation server in your harness.
